Sorrel Dunn is a Ph.D. student in Comparative Literary Studies with a home department in German. She received her B.A. in Philosophy from Bard College, and has worked as a cataloguer of rare books and archival materials. Her research centers on the experience of wonder and its relation to aesthetic perception, language, and conceptions of the natural world. She is also interested in the intersection between color and mood in German literature from the Goethezeit to the mid-20th century.
