Carly Bortman

Carly Bortman is a Ph.D. student in Comparative Literary Studies with a home department in German and a Mellon Fellowship in Critical Theory. Carly holds her BA and MA in Comparative Literature from New York University. Her current research interests include continental philosophy, the intersection of politics and aesthetics, and representations of Judaism in 18th-19th century German literature.
